WORLD WAR 1 SERVICEMEN from WAGGA WAGGA

Wagga VeteransGeoff Burch has recently up-dated a database listing over 2200 World War 1 enlistee’s who had a connection to Wagga.

Whilst based upon some information originally provided by Ian Hodges, Geoff has added a lot of background and detail including listings from the Victory Memorial Garden Arch and from the Cenotaph. He has also checked and cross referenced details to the Mapping our Anzacs site and other information. It’s a remarkably valuable resource for which we are very grateful.

There are some difficulties due to inconsistent criteria used by different sources and whilst the list is remarkably complete there are still a few gaps to be resolved. Any feedback, corrections or additions would be much appreciated.

The listing is available to Members Only and Members can view and/or download the listing by logging in and then clicking on “For Members” followed by “Resources” where you’ll find the list at the bottom of the page at 4. under Indexes.
