The RAHS will be holding a Regional Seminar at Wagga Wagga on 1st and 2nd August in conjunction with the Charles Sturt University Regional Archives, Wagga Wagga and District Historical Society and Wagga Wagga & District Family History Society.
Lectures and workshops will cover topics such as land research, multicultural local history, including Italian, German, Chinese migrants and their presence in Australia’s nineteenth century view of history, Wellington’s men in Australia, Lebanese families in the Wagga Wagga area, history in the virtual world, occupying the land – different types of tenure, Charles Sturt University Regional Archives collection, Chinese migration and settlement in the Wagga Wagga area and the Romany in Australia.
