Wagga District Hospital on the corner of Docker and Edward Streets was officially opened by NSW Premier, Hon. C.G. Wade in 1910. This photo taken in 1910 shows the hospital committee, medical staff, matron and secretary.
Wagga Base Hospital Nurses Home 1953
It was decided in 1947 to build a two storey domestic block at Wagga Base Hospital and use it to accommodate nurses until a three story Nurses’ Home could be built.
George Seymour and family – Wanterbadgery
George Seymour (1847-1939) came to Wanterbadgery around 1868 and remained in the area until his death in 1939.

Kendell Airlines Regional Airline of the Year 1992
In 1992 the Daily Advertiser reported that Wagga based Kendell Airlines had been named Regional Airline of the Year by Air Transport World magazine only the second time that the award has been won by a non-US airline.

New RVN Hostess Isabel Angel 1967
50 years ago the Daily Advertiser reported that local girl, Miss Isabel Angel was replacing station hostess, Colleen Schoff who resigned to be married.

In the Wagga Daily Advertiser in 1967 it was reported that the girls on the staff of RVN Channel Two held a farewell luncheon at the Town House for the channel’s hostess, Miss Colleen Schoff.
