New Online Tool from Family Search – Place Research Tool

This tool allows you to search all over the world for a place name with FamilySearch returning proper results even when the name has changed over time.

570 Ballarat mining maps, dated between 1870–1890 (approx.), are now available to search and view online using the State Library of Victoria catalogue.
